Ana amfani da EDFA sosai a cikin hanyoyin sadarwa na gani, musamman don watsawa mai nisa. EDFAs masu ƙarfi na iya ƙara siginar gani a cikin nisa mai nisa ba tare da rage ingancin sigina ba, wanda hakan ya sa su zama muhimman abubuwa a cikin hanyoyin sadarwa masu sauri. An tsara wannan babban EDFA mai ƙarfi don amfani a cikin hanyoyin sadarwa na CATV/FTTH/XPON kuma yana ba da sassauƙa da fasaloli masu sauƙin amfani. Yana iya ɗaukar shigarwa ɗaya ko biyu kuma yana da maɓalli mai gani da aka gina don canzawa tsakanin su. Ana iya sarrafa wutar lantarki ta hanyar maɓallai ko hanyar sadarwa ta SNMP. Ana iya daidaita ƙarfin fitarwa ta hanyar gaban panel ko hanyar sadarwa ta SNMP kuma ana iya rage shi da 6dBm don sauƙin gyara.
